College Explorations

About

College Explorations is a student-run middle school visit program. The program's aim is to expose 6th-8th grade students to a college campus at a young age encouraging them to see college as a possibility and to start preparing now. BW student volunteers facilitate a brief session on college and how to begin preparing, answer questions during a panel discussion, and provide a tour of our campus.

The idea is to expose students to a college campus at a young age to encourage them to see college as a possibility and start preparing now.  Visits include a question and answer session with a panel of college students, a brief presentation on preparing for college, and a campus tour.

Become a College Explorations Volunteer!

College Explorations volunteers serve as panelists and tour guides for our middle school visit days. It is a great opportunity to work with children and help them understand what college is all about.

Potential College Explorations volunteers must be available 11:45 a.m.-1:00 p.m.on Thursdays as this is when visits will occur.

To Participate: Complete the application here. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis.
